And this time it was a LARGE one. Anne ( Magalerie ) kindly gave me one of her prints in 16X20 size ! Yeay !!!!
She rocks ! It is amazing and I can't wait to frame it :
And don't miss her " Tour de France " photo !
I found it super cool to paint on 16x20 paper for her :
One fig marmalade :
And another fig marmalade watercolor painting :
I stopped selling my artwork in large size, because it is too frightening to ship paintings around the world, waiting until they are delivered in perfect condition ... or not.
But I am now thinking of improving shipment, so I could put 16x20 original watercolor paintings up in my shop after summer.
and the italian cookbook in progress.....

Love your fig marmalades, the centre of the fig is exquisite.Do you use the palette in the photo and is it wood? The book looks great too, sometimes it's hard to see your work, the writing on your blog comes up tiny when I view it? Need my specs :) I see you are on Tigerprints inspiration boards for todays foodie theme!! Hope you're enjoying doing the book.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing the cookbook!!

Hi Julie,
ReplyDeleteYes I am using this palette, in plastic, a too small one, and I must tell you it was my kids palette when they were at school (when 5 years old) !!!
The fig paintings are so beautiful. Your handwriting is awesome!
