One of these recipes is : "Les pommes de terre au sable". I don't know how to translate : Sandy potatoes ? Potatoes with sand ?
I was really wondering what was this recipe " with sand ! ", did potatoes grow on the beach ? so I baked it yesterday for dinner.

That recipe looks delicious. I will try it. I would say 'Sandy Potatoes' but not everyone would want to eat them! :) How wonderful that you are illustrating a cookbook.

Wonderful to see you illustrating an Italian cookbook, fantastic. Those potatoes do look like they have sand on them, but it must just be crispy and crunchy, look yum. As ever your illustrations are so full of life, wonderful colours. Hope you enjoy doing it all!
