Can't go to the supermarket without going back with these in my basket:
I don't know what you think of the Joy of baking website, dear american friends? but as soon as I saw tons of wonderful US recipes, I opened my fridge, my oven was preheated, and here we go !
They look like potatoes, but it was a success !
Here is the recipe in progress, the picture is gloomy, my camera is a ghost :

Yay Lucile! You can officially be part of our family now. There's hardly a day when cookies aren't being baked in our oven! Here's a wonderful recipe from Dorie Greenspan we've made a few times: http://doriegreenspan.com/2009/02/world-peace-cookies-metric-measures-and-variations.html

P.S. I think homemade cookies shouldn't be perfect circles.
Many thanks for being officially part of your family :) and for the recipe, I will bake these this week end !
ReplyDeleteOh you lovely people, baking cookies. YUM!!! They look delicious. I love the ilustrations too! I keep feeling the need to bake, but just got no time right now, I shouldn't be on here really. But I like it too much :)
ReplyDeleteI have those tins! Chocolate pecan cookies are kind of a staple here. I always add a little bit of orange zest!
